To be completely honest, i have not thought about doing HDR at night but i am really starting to think about trying it. I have never done anything with HDR but i feel like it would be really fun/exprimental.  Here are some photographs i found of HDR at night....

Today i got my cap and gown and its kinda bittersweet and crazy to think i will be graduating in  a little over a month.  Because i am a senior, i have been slacking quite a bit. haha Sometimes when i am unmotivated, i look to Colin Finlay's work for guidance. I love his documentary work.  Here is some of his work that i like a lot....

These are two of my favorite photographs from his site and they really inspire me to travel.

After i graduate i really want to travel and becoming more in touch with cultures and experiences around the world.

Last night i went out and took pictures of the moon. It was a perfect night to take pictures of the moon because it was pretty clear and little clouds in the sky. I then took some pictures with a friend this weekend for a folio book I have been working on for a class.

Today i started to think about my photography three project and what i was thinking about doing. I decided to look at specific typology photographs and got some really good ideas.  I thought this was a neat idea and i think im going to explore something similar to this for the project.

I also wanted to experiment in the color darkroom with color photograms and jell - o. I looked up some photograms and other artists photograms and found two similar to what i want to do and want my outcome to be like.

Numero Uno Post:

Got ready for my show today, its on March 4th to March 22nd.

Spring break is in two days: venturing to emmys house and hopefully to the beach later on in the week. :) 

Talked with Tema Stauffer today (a featured artist at kutztown) about my work, and she seemed to like my night artwork.  It was good to have someone else other than myself, peers and professors to view my work and give me feedback.  She suggested some artists for me to look at, two of which i already knew about and was influenced by, Gregory Crewdson: He does Staged night photography.

She also told me to look up Todd Hido, whom i had never seen before and i really enjoy his work he does a lot of night photography with fog and serene places. its a good point of reference though. I will definitely look to him in the future.
